Our Fifth Grade Science lab is a place for students to explore, imagine, and create understanding about the world around them. Through hands on investigations, they will learn to work as scientists, using tools of measurement, microscopes, computers, and living organisms to make real world connections to Science concepts. Students will learn to design and conduct valid experiments, record data, and communicate results through the use of Science journals as they prepare for the TAKS Science exam at the end of the school year.
In order for all students to be successful, it is important that they are at school every day with all assignments completed. Parents can help by checking planners for teacher notes and homework assignments each night and ensuring that students are at school on time!
It is my hope that all students will experience the joy of discovery and develop a love of learning that will enable them to accomplish their goals and "Reach for the Stars."
